The Literacy Council of Mercer County

 

Our Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide opportunities for adults and children to achieve their intellectual, social, and economic potential. We do this by providing instruction in those skills adults and children need to set and attain their lifetime goals.  These skills include:

  • Goal Setting
  • Reading Effectively
  • Writing Effectively
  • Speaking Effectively
  • Using Math to Solve Problems
  • Career Planning
  • Job Ready Computer Skills

Our mission is also to provide opportunities for adults and children to learn the information they need to be well-informed citizens of the world.
