Brighten those summer days by participating in the exciting free summer program "Get in the Game!" sponsored by The Literacy Council of Mercer County. Join us for story times, activities, crafts, special programs and field trips while reading and learning for pleasure.

This summer's theme celebrates being physically and intellectually active and is sure to energize children of all ages as their bodies and minds are challenged by puzzles, games, story times, crafts, field trips, and most importantly, reading and talking about books found at our library. Research has shown that children who spend part of their summer reading are likely to maintain their reading skills when they return to school in the fall.

Please encourage your family and friends to "Get in the Game!" by participating in our exciting program this summer. Call us at 724-588-6141 for more information and a schedule of events. We look forward to seeing you and your family at the summer program!
